Plant Employee:

Flatbed Operator, Post/Gluer Operator, Floating Operator


Machine feeders, helper, operators, and general labor


Manufacturing corrugated products via various manufacturing machines and processes. Palletizing, banding and shipping the finished product as well as any general labor needed to support the shipment of quality product.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Mounting print plates, cutting dies. Quality checks, feed machines, setting up machines. Various helper duties including hand labor. General housekeeping

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

Must be able to read a tape measure, understand customer requirements. Willing to train in all aspects of the corrugated industry.  

Minimum Requirements:

Entry Level position  

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift 50 pounds and follow instructions.

Plant & Shipping Scheduler


This position has responsibility for shipping and plant scheduling at Tavens Packaging. Setting the production schedule, the shipping schedule and arrange outside purchases. Running shipping line ups for truck drivers and managing the schedule for those drivers are primary responsibilities.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Shipping Scheduler Responsibilities

  • Establish, implement and monitor all systems related to shipping and plant schedule.

  • Ensure on time delivery based on customer requirement.

  • Collaborate with Design, Production, Customer Service, and Management to insure accurate information is used to produce product.

  • Work closely with customer service and design and production departments to ensure all customer specifications and information appropriate to manufacturing routing and capabilities are documented and communicated to production.

  • Establish procedure and run daily production communication meetings.


Required Skills, Experience, and Education:


The ideal candidate will have a minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing environment This person will have superb people, customer service, administrative and verbal and written communication skills. Experience within corrugated, paper or similar manufacturing environments is desired.  Working knowledge of current business software technologies is required.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED plus College/or appropriate technical courses.

Five years of experience as a proven project manager.

Ten years corrugated manufacturing experience

Candidates are Preferred who offer a College Degree.
