 - Preferred File Format is Adobe Illustrator or compatible layered PDF  
 - Artwork should be created on "Graphics" Layer
 - All files should be built to the die size, DO NOT MODIFY "STRUCTURE or BLEED" layer      
   *** If changes are required to structure, please contact design@tavens.com so the             
   CAD can be revised  
 - Outline ALL Fonts or provide Font Files along with finalized artwork in Font Folder
 - Embed ALL images or provide images along with finalized artwork in Images Folder
 - Convert Black Floods or Text to 100% Black  
 - Include all hi-res images / art 300 DPI for Photoshop files, in CMYK color mode  
 - Logos should be provided in Vector Format  
 - Keep design elements 3/16" from scores  
 - Use CMYK unless spot colors are used, convert RGB to CMYK  
 - Identify Spot / PMS by using Pantone # and AVOID custom names, i.e., "Tavens Green"
    instead, use Pantone 368  
 - When utilizing the transparency effect in Adobe Illustrator, keep all vector art on the top
    layer whenever possible. Set the "Documents Raster Effects" to 300 PPI before creating the
    art  
 
 - Litho Label Guidelines:     
 - Label to substrate registration is +/- 1/8”     
 - 3/16” Bleed overall scores is required on full or spot labels
 - Minimum Text Litho = 5 pt reverse 7 pt (minimum 10 pt for white text)     
 
 - Flexo Guidelines:     
 - Color to color registration is approx. .015”     
 - Print to Die Cut Registration is +/- 1/8”     
 
 - Minimum Line Weight                     
 -.155 build = Positive 1 pt reverse 1.5 pt                    
 -.250 build = Positive 2 pt reverse 2.5 pt     
 - Minimum Text Size Flexo = 8 pt reverse 10 pt     
 - Traps = .0625     
 - Minimum Screen Percentage = 3%  
 
Please supply PDF for reference, along with artwork in a compressed folder, subfolders per item. Include Fonts and Images and UPLOAD to Tavens FTP in ART GUIDE drop down menu on Toolbar above.
