Tavens Packaging & Display Solutions Improves Production Quality with New Flexo Folder Gluer
The new machine will improve quality and efficiency through faster set up times and run speed
Cleveland, OH – Tavens, a full-service packaging and display solutions company in Bedford Heights, Ohio, is taking a step forward to improve quality and efficiency in production by purchasing a Flexo Folder Gluer (FFG).
The new Flexo Folder Gluer will increase operational efficiencies through faster setup times and run speed. Specifically, key features of the FFG include tight print registration, inline dye-cutting capabilities, top loading, and a setup time 50 percent faster than conventional machines. It can run up to 250 pieces per minute.
“By cutting setup time in half, this machine enables us to deliver more cost-efficient products to our customers, while also improving the overall work product,” said Jan Piko, Tavens’ vice president of operations. “We’re always looking for ways to improve, and this FFG is a significant step in the right direction.”
The Flexo Folder Gluer is manufactured by Latitude Manufacturing Company in Taiwan.
